Going Social (IAAP)

"Going Social" is a one-hour presentation that first surveys the current top 8 social networks, their brief histories and unique niches. This presentation then focuses specifically on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+, examining similarities and differences between them, exploring current uses of each for both personal and professional motivations, and finally discussing privacy concerns of social networking in general and how such is addressed by each of these four services.

This is a presentation I gave to the Champaign-Urbana chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

Date of Presentation:
27 September 2011
